Thank you so much. I actually took this excerpt (with a few changes) from a sort of story I have been writing off and on for the past year or so. I know you're a good writer so coming from you the compliment means a lot.

Portion the Fourth

And remember. The friendly guy always woke at 7am in Summer and 9am in Winter. Or at least I presumed he had not woken much before then, since at the same time everyday he would stride to his window - clad in a silkdressing gown - and proclaim his joy at living. This happened everyday withoutfail for the 5 years I have been living here. Then, about a month ago, there wasno friendly man. It took me a couple of days to realise something was amiss; thegreeting had become so accustomed it was woven…See More

Oh my! This is utterly amazing! I am left with a deep sense of sorrow which inspires me with a small, insidious joy; I love it.

Currently reading: a collection of Gothic short stories. I can't actually think of the publisher at the moment...However, it is a fantastic collection. Some of the stories are excerpts from novels which - although minorly irritating - really do…

Jeffrey Archer

heyI am a big fan of Jeffrey Archer and unfortunately recently I finished reading his entire collection (excluding Prison Dairies). I was wondering if anyone would know of an author or book, that is or who, writes similar thriller plots like him or could suggest something that I would enjoy (Worst constructed sentence ever! hah). Thanks.JoshuaSee More
